Privacy Policy
Starter content. This policy is a working draft and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch. It does not assert compliance with any specific regulation.
Information we collect
Account information you provide during registration: profile name, username, email address, mobile number, and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider). Optional profile information: avatar image and biography. Technical information: abuse-prevention records such as hashed identifiers, timestamps and rate limit counters.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, verify your email address and mobile number, operate the community and classroom, prevent spam and abuse, and respond to support requests.
What other members can see
Your profile name, username, avatar, biography, join date, follower and following counts, presence status (unless hidden in settings), and anything you post. Your email address and phone number are never shown publicly.
Verification codes and messages
SMS verification codes are sent through a third-party messaging provider. Codes are stored only as one-way hashes, expire quickly, and are limited in attempts.
Retention and deletion
You may close your account from Settings. Access is deactivated immediately and permanent deletion is queued after a disclosed retention period (default 30 days) to allow recovery from mistaken or malicious deletion. Community content is removed or anonymised, and uploaded files are deleted with the account.
